The beautiful image, perfect for spring, is a freebie from Diane at Mixed Media Monday. It is a parting gift for all her Blog friends as the challenge has been closed. Thankyou Diane! We are sorry to see MMM go but no doubt we will see you back from time to time in other challenges.
I coloured and image and placed it on layers (quite a few), using papers, overlays and elements by Irene Alexeeva (Scraporchard) and Lauren Bavin (Digitalscrapbookplace).
What a Spring beauty, Marie, yummy colours, once again you have achieved such stunning effects!
ReplyDeleteMarie what a delicious pink creation...once again you have created one of your superbly wonderful collages...I adore them.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous image and soft colours, Marie!
ReplyDeleteLove the gentleness of this, Marie. Your various layers have certainly blended beautifully and the delicate pinks are a favorite of mine...have always been a 'pink' person altho there are few colors I don't enjoy and use them all. Beautiful! Love it.
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful, Marie. Such a lovely, vintage, romantic feel to it. And it definitely makes me think of spring!
ReplyDeleteMarie, your delicate spring collage is really lovely! The colours and the layerings are fantastically beautiful, and the spring girl is so pretty. Thank you for this great challenge!
ReplyDeleteSubtle and delicate is how I would describe this luscious piece, Marie. And although you can only dream of a European Spring, you have captured it to a T. Scrumptious!
ReplyDeleteI love all the layers and the delicate background. It's lovely, Marie!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what she's thinking.... "Now it's Spring, can I get away without wearing my vest?"
ReplyDeleteI must apologise for my absence the last week or so. I have been both a busy and poorly godmother whose creativity has taken a bit of a hit.... I am on the mend now though... Back soon!
I hated to see MMM close up too, but you have used this last gift beautifully, Marie. It is a gorgeous inspiration piece.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely, Marie! I can practically "see" a spring breeze ruffling her dress and hair! Hugs, Terri xoxo
ReplyDeleteHow did I miss commenting on this beautiful piece? For someone who doesn't experience Spring, you've managed to capture its delicate nature. I love when you do these pieces, Marie. You're so darned good at 'em!
ReplyDeleteSo darned good indeed. It's such a magical, soft, breathtaking piece Marie. Absolutely love it. Hugs xx
