Sunday Postcard Art - Number One

I wasn't sure how to go about illustrating Number One.  I had one idea which was probably not politically correct!  A very old song, by Irving Berlin, kept coming into my head.  I don't know all the lyrics but the first line is "All alone, waiting by the phone" so here is ONE sad lady, waiting in vain for the phone to ring.
The main image was drawn by me.  I made the house from papers by Createwing Designs (also the background).  The pedestal and phone are from Katie Pertiet at Designer Digitals.

    Oh Marie, my mouth is hanging open once again. You know I love this particular colour palette, so it's a given anyway that I would fall for this, but in addition I just love your twist on the theme. For me you are the mouse magician!!
