Three Muses Challenge - Altering famous portraits

This week Ann has invited us to alter famous portraits.  I decided to update Queen Elizabeth I by taking a body from a Modigliani painting and adding her head to it.  I'm sure she feels more comfortable, having thrown away the huge and heavy dresses she had to wear.

Take a Word Challenge - RED AND GREEN

This week at Take a Word the theme is RED AND GREEN.  The image was formerly an old black and white vintage photo (source unknown) which I have coloured.  Other pieces including backgrounds, mushrooms, balloon and doorway are from Createwings Designs.

Take a Word Challenge - Winter

This week at Take a Word the theme is WINTER.  Even though it's summer in my world I can still enter into the spirit of things. Snow is completely alien to me but I managed to fashion Mr and Mrs Snowman, vintage style, in my ArtRage digital painting program.

Cheeky Challenge Tuesday - Rich (Man/Woman) - Moneybags

Thanks to June for this fun challenge.  I started off taking a more outrageous approach but this is a kinder version, one for which I hope I can't be sued.  The original image (minus head) was a black and white picture from Finecrafted Designs.  I have painted it and removed said head. The trump portrait was Googled, the background is from Itkupilli and the moneybags were painted by me.

The Three Muses Challenge - The Games We Play

This week at the Muses the theme is "The games we play".  I Googled the photograph and crossword puzzle template and added some Photoshop brushes and a rose from Graphics Fairy.

Take a Word Challenge - Sepia/Brown

This week at Take a Word the challenge is to create some art using sepia/brown tones.  The dress shape is from Kubivet (an old website no longer operating).  The wings are from Irene Alexeeva and the background from Lorie Davison with word overlay from Createwings Designs.  The head was painted by me.
