The Poe image (altered into postage stamp pose) and blackbird were Googled. The man in chair minus head) is from my own family album. I have lost track of the added ephemera which I have had on my computer for years.
I love your Poe, Marie, and the postal stamp effect. I have to admit I'm one of those who loves the black birds, be they raven, crow, or plain old blackbird. There's just something about them! Great art, my dear!
I think those white gloves come straight from the washing machine, they look so clean :-) (just kidding my friend) I love the vintage look and all the great additions on the background to. And Mr. Poe seems to feel right at home on you image! A magical make-over my friend !
Fantastic work, Marie. Mr. Poe live here in Richmond at one time, and one of the tourist attractions is the Poe House. Love how you made him into a stamp person.
I sent some visitors your way via one of my blog entries Postage Stamps.
