First of all, apologies to all those men who are not full of hot air. We have a saying in Australia, when talking about a man who is arrogant and who has too much to say, that "he is full of hot air". This provided a seed for my fertile mind and, all of a sudden, I had thought of the balloon approach.
Background by Createwing Designs. Two larger males are Terri Kahrs freebies, altered and re-dressed. The image on the right is a Flickr free-to-use (head only). Balloons were made in one of my software programs.

This is such a fun collage! I love the balloon bodies. Even though I personally don't think I'm full of hot air, I bet my wife would beg to differ.

ReplyDeleteThis is incredible Genuis idea. Lynne M
ReplyDeleteHow splendid! I gladly return your laughs on my card. You quote and card made me laugh just as much!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun!! You are such a witty artist Marie!
ReplyDeleteMy relief technique is smearing a matboard ATC with quick-drying wall filler putty stuff and then stamping into it with a foam stamp. Leave the thing to dry, coat it with acrylic paint in a dark or bold colour. When that's dry, use a dry brush to highlight the raised areas with silver, gold or bronze acrylic paint - voila!
I'll do a photo tutorial soon!!
oh i think this is the funniest image! you have a great sense of humor. really gorgeous. xo
ReplyDeleteMarie, I have to say, this my favourite. I love those Ballooners (some men deserve that).
