Mixed Media Monday - Romance

Romance is the theme at MMM this week. This young lady is obviously a-waitin' and a-hopin'. The face is from a Flickr-free-to-use image, coloured by me. The rest of her was painted by me.

    I really like the contrast of images, you used here: the textures of the stone background and metal heart and key emphasize the romance of the flowers, bluebird, and pretty frock. This is really a strong piece, Marie.

    Surely this lovely lady will find true love!
