I think this little child is a boy. The lace would have us think otherwise but I have photos from old family albums of my own and very small boys were dressed in overblown tunic dresses, quite often with lace attached.Thanks to Rein for the lovely photograph and to the ladies of Art Creations for the challenge.
I have recoloured the image and the backgrounds, bird and number tags are from a collaboration digital kit at After Five Designs (by Createwings aka Dawn van der Stoep and Catherine Designs).

Because of the hat and the horse, I thought it was a boy, but it had all the potential of being a girl, so I did a change of gender.
