For this week's challenge, Vron has given us a photo of Marilyn Monroe. I have used a variety of overlays and filters to achieve (I hope) a drowning effect as I always see her as a tragic, troubled person. Overlays by Lauren Bavin. (Looks better full size)
Gorgeous and hypnotic! This piece perfectly captures Marilyn's charms.

This is a masterpiece Marie, the layers and blending are beautifully done and the canvas effect is stunning. You've captured the tragedy of her life so completely.
ReplyDeleteFor landlubber me, who's desperately afraid of water beyond the bathtub, this is an unsettling image, but it's beautifully crafted to the tiniest detail, as is all your work. Marilyn was a tragic figure, and you've captured that so well. Kudos, Marie!
