Sea travel is not for me. Because of sea-sickness and many misadventures, not to mention a general aversion to "cruising", it is something I don't want to repeat! Original painting by me.
What a beautiful painting Marie! She is wonderful despite her feelings of unease at sea. Great color and expression. I took my first cruise last December and I didn't get seasick but the patch that I wore made me sick! I loved the shore excursions the most( I am an earth sign after all). Love your entry lots!!
Ohhhh, My! Unfortunately I an relate, Marie! I can't even think about it without my stomach swirling!!! Love this illustration!!! You've nailed that terrible feeling with great tact!!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo
lol, Love your sense of humour and your expressive painting!! I grew up by the sea, but I still get hopelessly seasick on big boats in rough weather. but give me a small boat and the wind in my face and it's all good :) Love how your sailer so perfectly portrait your feelings about the sea!
Ahh, several shades of green, blood shot eyes and not a smile to be seen. She may be unhappy but you have made me laugh out loud this morning Marie. Your paintings are gorgeous, and eminently frameworthy.
Oh my goodness Marie, this is fab and you know i do think you should do more painting you are talented hope your day is going fabulously my friend hugs June xxx
Oh dear, this painting just says it all! I hope you don't have to go on the sea for a very long time...it does not agree with you! Your painting skills on the other hand are fabulous - while on land at any rate! I had to laugh at the insignia on your, I mean her, hat! Cheers!
