I think the girls are feeling blue. The older one is from Paper Whimsy (altered with new dress added) and the younger one is from Hidden Vintage designs, also altered. The backgrounds, frames and corners are from Ztampf at Scrapbookgraphics.
I have always wondered why people never smiled in vintage photos. These little sweethearts look SO somber....and you've given them such beautiful new dresses you'd think they'd be smiling! As always, Marie, beautiful work!
It was the crash, bang, wollop of the powder 'gunpowder?' there to create the flash for the camera that made our ancestors less than happy to have their photos taken me thinks. Still your girls have been compensated with gorgeous blue dresses so you would have thought they could have managed a tiny smile. Stunning work, Marie.
Love your twosome, although they do look a little blue :)
ReplyDeleteGosh, just such a sweet pair!!!
ReplyDeleteWOW what a sweet and amazing pair, dear Marie, I love the different blue colors too and the frame around is marvellous!
ReplyDeleteBig hugs Anja

ReplyDeleteNot happy wearing their 'Sunday best,' Marie, but you have made them splendid in blue!!
ReplyDeleteLove these two in blue!!!! Love all the elements!!
ReplyDeleteSTERNE, stars!!!!!!!!!! P.
ReplyDeleteThey are cute. Beautiful blue colouring. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteWell, they are lovely, but that blueish skins suggest they aren't with us anymore... :D
ReplyDeleteWonderful duo Marie.

ReplyDeleteLove them but they are puffy.
ReplyDeleteThey look a bit stern, maybe it was the time they had to stand for the photo. Its a fantastic page.
ReplyDeleteYvonne
Made a mistake. I put puffy for a comment. I meant they have wee pouts sad like.
ReplyDeleteSorry about that.
Such blue ladies!
