Sunday Postcard Art - Baroque



I chose to look at the Baroque period in art and found this lovely painting of "girl in red hat" which was created by Johannes Vermeer (1632-1675).  I have given her a different background, added a bird and, yes, I enlarged the hat somewhat.  The background is from Itkupilli.  See below for original painting.

    This is absolutely brilliant, Marie. I love that you made the hat more substantial to accommodate the bird, and the background is inspired. Beautiful work!
