This really is my Uncle Paul (by marriage). He lives in an old family album that was passed on to me and every now and then I drag him out and give him an airing in various guises. He hasn't been seen on the Blog for quite a while but I am sure many of you will remember him.
Family photo greatly altered and coloured. ArtRage balloons. Googled boots and hat. Background and clouds by Createwings Designs.
Love you Uncle Paul in his red boots! Yes, I'd say his head is way in the clouds. Terrific piece, Marie!

Ahhhh, so there he is ... and sporting a pair of the hottest red boots he's ever likely to see.
ReplyDeletePerhaps he and Mabel should meet one of these days.
I can't wait to see the pairing of Mabel and Uncle Umberto. What a pair that would be! I think those red boots will take Uncle anywhere he wants to go, Marie. This is such a fun, whimsical piece. Bravo!

Uncle Paul is certainly a handsome devil, isn't he? Although I think I would want someome with his feet on the ground.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I remember him very well!
ReplyDeleteHe must enjoy that you're used to drag him out some times to times... Look at him; isn't he happy with his red boots & big hat, floating in the sky, enjoying the beautiful landscape?
I adore your artwork & your unique mind Marie! :)
What a fun card, Marie. Your imagery and word message are excellent. Love this.

ReplyDeleteKnow about Obesity Disease Adding these two things together means you are likely going to put on weight while you are recovering from your injury. So, how do you battle weight loss? Well you can't work out, so you can't take the typical exercise route to burn off those calories. But you can make your body burn more calories with a little help. You need fat burners. In order to lose weight, you must eat healthily and burn calories by doing exercise that raises your heart rate on a regular basis. Some types of yoga, such as Iyengar, in which yoga poses are held for several minutes with a resting period between each pose, will build muscles and improve your posture, but will not give you the cardiovascular workout you need to lose weight. On another hand, if you are standing in a pose for several minutes and sweating, this will definitely help you lose weight. If you plan to make yoga your primary form of exercise, you must do a vigorous 90-minute yoga class at least three times a week. Many people also choose to combine yoga with running, walking or other aerobic exercise in order to reach their weight loss goals.
