Three Muses - Weather

I love wintertime in my part of the world.  For three short months we can actually wear warm clothes with long sleeves, gardens are green and lush, flowers still bloom, and - if we are lucky - everything outside is damp.  The photo above is of my youngest granddaughter.  It was taken in the month of August, the last month of our winter.  Spring comes early so the flowering fruit tree is in bloom.  I treated the photo to some filter work and added the clock and sign (by Irene Alexeeva).  Once upon a time and rarely it is cool and damp and sometimes rains in Perth, Western Australia.

  3. The colours in this gorgeous piece absolutely sing, Marie. One to add to the family album without a doubt.

To visit Perth in the winter is definitely on my things to do list! :D

  5. I know you love the cool and damp when your gardens are splendiferous, Marie. I hope it lasts a long time this year! This scene is full of dreamy wonderfulness! Thanks for reminding me what green looks like! Everything here seems dry and parched -- most unusual for an Indiana summer!
