Gothic Arch Challenge - The Last Rose of Summer

I used bits and pieces I have had on my computer for a long time so I don't have credits for the image or the arch.  The dried roses are by Trish Jones and the words are from the song "The Last Rose of Summer" by Thomas More.
This is a new challenge hosted by Kris Dickinson at http://nostalgiccollage.blogspot.com  - If you like a challenge, join in and make it a success!  We need all the challenges we can get having lost so many great ones over the past few months.

  1. Oh so beautiful Marie. My Nan and Granddad used to sing that song, I can remember as a child.
Trust me to use the wrong sort of arch this week! xx

  2. Really beautiful, Marie! I remember finding the sheet music to that song when I was a little girl and trying to pick it out on the piano.

  6. She looks very wistful and beautiful and the quote is lovely too but the best bit is the fantastic sunny glow you have created. Bravo.
