I love how the 'darkside' has crept into many of the entries today, Marie, what or who is awaiting at the top you've created a real air of mystery with the colours, b/g & ghostly stairs! Hope you recover from laryngitis soon, must be the drop in temperature over your way or excess singing in the shower!! LOL
Love this! I love misterious stairs. Have you heard of the movie Wishing Stairs? It's Korean and it seems creepy. When I was a teen, I used to watch by myself those British sixties horror movies on TV till later. Problem was climb the stairs to reach my bedroom after the movie... I ran desperately always imagining that there was a spirit right behind me.
Thank YOU for a terrific interpretation of the challenge, Marie. I love the worn edges of the steps, and the dark mystery of it all. Subtle color and texture on the stairs is excellent. Your work is always such a pleasure!
Golly Gosh! This reminds me of the stairs in my Nan's house, as a little girl I hated going up to the dark at the top of the stair. No lights on stairs in those days.
I often wonder why participants don't create more often dark entries. I know it's a matter of taste Marie but look at your comments...Everyone likes it ! And I'm no exeption. I do LOVE this style and also your gungy look ! And with brushes you can do SOOO much !! I have hundreds of them in my photoshop. purchased - borrowed and made by myself. They give images often a extra dimension when used in a correct way and you....did this Marie. You entry is realy majestic !!
