Three Muses Challenge - Birds

Thanks to Bev for a great challenge.  I painted this digitally using the ArtRage software program.  As you can see, it is possible to achieve a textured look using thick oil brushes and palette knife.

    This is wonderful, Marie. The texture is fabulous! It certainly doesn't look digital.

    WOW it looks so colorful and vibrant, and the texture is fantastic, I never would have guessed that it is a digital work

    I just got that program 2 weeks ago and I love it, but I am having a hard time figuring out the "save" part.
    This makes me want to really learn how to!!!!
