I have noticed that pictures now being posted to the blog are losing a lot of definition. I don't know why but I am sure this is the case. This one looks better when enlarged.
Birds spend a lot of time finding material for their "homes". Boothroyd Blackbird has taken his talents to a new level! Paper and cardboard maybe but very sophisticated - for a blackbird.Bits and pieces from Lorie Davison at Scrapbookgraphics.
Oh, wow, Boothroyd! You're probably the only blackbird with a real window on your world. I'm impressed. As always, Marie, this is original, creative, and meticulously well done. Kudos!
ReplyDeleteMarvelous!
ReplyDeleteWow I've noticed that too Marie (I thought it was my monitor!). Any way your postcard looks fantastic and what a great whimsical bird he is- just a perfect entry for this theme!
ReplyDeleteMarie, I LOVE this! Fantastic postcard!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a wonderful house card, Marie. So beautiful.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't he look smart in his top hat & a house to match, Marie, fabulous take on the house theme!
ReplyDeleteHave to agree with you re: losing definition, went back & put 'please enlarge' on mine after uploading today.
Beautiful postcard, Marie!
ReplyDeleteBoothroyd is boo'ful, Marie! Love it, especially enlarged to see all the details! =)
ReplyDeleteMarvelous!
ReplyDeleteA lovely postcard, Marie - a wondeful background that sets off Boothroyd perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't noticed about the definition, but shall be looking more closely now!

ReplyDeleteMarie, your art today is glorious.
ReplyDeleteSimply AMAZING! Love your take on the theme...just a delight!
The colors here look so sophisticated, Marie, as befitting this dapper gent. Blogger is driving me NUTS lately! I cannot get my new header image to "center," and, for some reason, I can't revert to my old Classic template in which my image was centered. I've spent hours trying to fix this!
ReplyDeleteI see Boothroyd is more than your run of the mill blackbird, he has such talent and his colour co-ordination is amazing. A home to be proud of.
ReplyDeleteGreat again Marie! Sorry my English is really bad, I think in Dutch and have to write in English, help!! I love the beautiful bird and vintage look. I'am a big fan of your creations!!
ReplyDeleteWow! as always a Gorgeous postcard; your work is amazing.
