My Odd Bird is made from a Googled peacock, head and hands from a Terri Kahrs freebie (thanks Terri) body by me and background (altered) by Lauren Bavin. Words by Carly Simon from her great song "You're So Vain".
Now why is that the male animals always got the better deal eh? Perfect song for this odd bird Marie and beautifully executed. What a fun challenge this has been!
Your peacock odd bird reminds me of a peacock I know, though I'm pretty sure he would never recognize himself in all his glory! Your wicked sense of humour cracks me up and deserves a Standing O from me.
Marie, with all of that wonderful plumage you've created a real debonair Dandy!!! I honestly didn't recognize him in his new regalia. Who knew you were such a fantastic costume designer?!? Bravo! Hugs, Terri xoxo
Marie, I wish I had some of your imagination! This is a wonderful piece and the song lyrics fit it perfectly (I shall be singing Carly Simon all evening!).
Such a 'Dandy' in his plumage. Why is it always wasted on the blokes?
