The image from Suzee Que at Flickr-free-to-use has been overpainted and altered outrageously. Background by Dawn van der Stoep, Creativewing Designs.

Theme Thursday - Busy
"A woman's work is never done" - at least in the generation I come from where male chauvinism ruled (and still rules)!! So this is my contribution for "Busy"!!
Credits go to Lisa's Altered Art for the baby, Kubivet for the slightly anxious cat, Mr Google for a lot of bits and pieces, Irene Alexeeva for watering can and plant.

Mixed Media Monday - Games People Play
The lady is carrying a hockey stick but as she is not dressed for a game I assume she is waiting for her hubby to come home after a night out. I guess this is another game people play!!

The Three Muses Challenge - Water
What seems like weeks ago,Ms Terri Kahrs offered the above freebie to her friends. I have been waiting for a chance to use it ever since. My impatience level must have been high because I now see that it was posted on her blog less than a week ago.
Everyone with experience of babies and toddlers knows that their output of dribble far outweighs their size so the picture caused the idea to take shape in my weird brain.
So it's a big thankyou to Terri. The image has been coloured and altered a little. The umbrella, boots and frog are from Kay Hadfield and the background is by Fiddlette.

Art Creations Friday - Dressed to kill
Nowadays, keeping up with the Joneses means spending money that isn't there to buy "label" clothes. I had to smile when I saw today's image because it seems that keeping up with the Joneses a hundred years ago meant throwing layer upon layer, silly hats, froth and bubble at some poor unsuspecting child!! Therefore, I was forced to make a few changes just to make her feel better, although she looks as happy as the cat!
The image is from "Take a Break" at Flickr (thanks to the lovely ladies at ACF for sending us the link). The background is by Lorie Davison at SBG and the metal seat is by Irene Alexeeva at Scraporchard. Cat Googled.

The Three Muses Challenge - Angels
The background, which includes some added embellishments, comes from Lily, at After Five Designs.
The angel is a mishmash of pieces from various sources. The face (altered) is a Flickr-free-to-use image from Suzee Que.
The wings, violin and bow are by Irene Alexeeva now at Scraporchard.
The crown, hair and body by ME!
