Your lady has such a pensive look, I wonder what it is she wants to know when she fits that key in the lock. Beautiful Marie, and as always so beautifully crafted. Nothing less than exquisite.
Have just clicked through from Art-e-ology and am soooo glad I did! It's amazing what wonderful things can be found when one clicks on the name of someone who leaves a comment! Your work is fabulous Marie. I'll be back! :^)
Marie, your piece is so beautiful it makes me sigh! And the quote is so right - I really hope all the (wo)men in this world could get such a key! Your work would make a wonderful poster in any library and bookstore.
Oh Marie, this piece is very beautiful in its design and in its message. It is something that I firmly believe. I agree with Eila...we could hang this in our library with pride.
I love the quote and the color combo in this. If I could give one thing to everyone in the world it would be the ability to read. With this you can do anything!
This is so beautiful, Marie! I love how you put the lock in the middle of the flower...nice touch! You're always very creative and an inspiration. ~Lori
The colors you used in this piece just draw you right in!! Beautiful words Marie. I taught second grade for eleven years and I know those words to be so true. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful art with us. Love, Jamie
