My favourite time of day at this time of year (spring in Australia) is early morning when everything is damp and green and the flowering fruit trees are bursting forth. I have used a photo of my two-year-old granddaughter, taken early one morning last week. It is much altered to give it a "painterly" effect. An impressionist process heightens the colour and adds tiny paint strokes. The clockworks and face are by Jenu Designs.
this is lovely~!!!~
ReplyDeletegorgeous color and using the photo of your own grandchild makes it wonderfully sentimental~!~

Gorgeous!!! I love the soft storybook quality of it, so evokative, very clever and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWowwwww, ein traumhafte Stimmung auf deiner Karte!!
ReplyDeleteI often love what you write as much as the art you make. Even though I would love the art without the words, what you write illustrates how you put your heart and life into your work and somehow the work just gets one iota better - hope that makes sense. This is so lovely and inviting - I could get lost in it!
ReplyDeleteI am so behind on blog visits I had to go to your second page of posts to get caught up. Of course, I love everything but have to bring up the fish circus - you know I love that one especially! So fun and creative! It's always a delight to visit you and your work!
