My mother was born in 1898 and this photo was taken when she was 18 in 1916. She had six children and I was the big surprise package, arriving in the early 1940's when she had reached her mid-forties. Sadly, I have only short memories of the yesterdays I shared with my Mum who died when I was in my early teens. When I think of "Yesterday", I always think of her.
She was a beautiful girl, I am so sorry to hear you lost her so early in life, I'm sure she is watching over you and is So PROUD

ReplyDeleteBeautiful moo! And beautiful but sad story. My mother also was in her forties when I was born. But she died at the age of 81. So I had more time to get to know her. Sorry your mother died when you were still so young. But this moo is a great way to honour her.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful woman she was and a precious tribute to her as well! Very touching.
ReplyDeleteIt's such a shame to hear your Mum died whilst you were so young Marie, but what a wonderfully fitting tribute you've made to her here. You've done her proud my friend.
