Mixed Media Monday - Colours of spring

Nice challenge. I have to do this "by ear" because it is autumn here in the southern hemisphere but, in my part of the world, still summer according to the thermometer.
The quote is by Hal Borland. The background, flowers and butterfly by Irene Alexeeva.

    oh, I wanted to say too that I love the transparency of the flowers.The blossoms are so delicate and they give the feeling that the dandelion fluff is just about to take flight.
