This week at Take a Word the theme is "June Brides". The model for the bride started off as a ceramic figurine. I have digitally painted in the headgear, dress and shoes. Alas this bride's wedding didn't happen! Words are from an old music hall song.
This reminds me of icing on a cake, Marie, the colors are so lovely. Alas, it seems as if she's having some bad luck --- or perhaps it's good luck she didn't get to the altar with that bad boy!
ReplyDeleteWow she is stunning despite a sad tale -beautiful and poignant work!
ReplyDeleteShe will be OK. Hopefully she will discover she doesn't need to be married to be happy...
ReplyDeleteVery, very well done. Lovely digital art.
ReplyDeleteWell this just covers it all it is lovely and hilarious and I love it a lot.

ReplyDeleteShe had a narrow escape me thinks ..... and looking so beautiful she won't have to wait long for the right one to come along. I remember the figurine, Marie, and what a transformation.
ReplyDeleteSo sad, so beautiful, so touching...
ReplyDeleteI love it Marie!
