Three Muses Challenge - Altering famous portraits

This week Ann has invited us to alter famous portraits.  I decided to update Queen Elizabeth I by taking a body from a Modigliani painting and adding her head to it.  I'm sure she feels more comfortable, having thrown away the huge and heavy dresses she had to wear.

  9. How thoughtful of you to free Queenie from her whalebone stays and cumbersome jewels and dresses. However, I'm not sure she'll be happy to have lost her crown as well. It might be a case of 'off with your head'. Hope not! Thank you for the smile, Marie.
