Take a Word Challenge - Making Memories
It's a bit hard to accept that photos of me are now VINTAGE. This one was taken on my 21st birthday when I was emerging into adulthood (we were late bloomers in those days). My bouffant hairdo screams the Sixties. I didn't have a line on my face and now my ten year old grandson asks me "what are those pleats in your neck?" Over fifty years ago! I can't believe it. My choice of partner was a disaster, my marriage a joke. There are pluses and minuses but I guess the pluses have won because my three children and four grandchildren are a joy to me.
The background, edge pieces and ferns are from Lorie Davison at Scrapbookgraphics - one of the first digital kits I bought years ago.

Sunday Postcard Art - Sisters
This photo started off as a misty sepia. I have worked on it, adding the colouring and improving the definition. The ladies are obviously sisters - my mother on the left and her sister on the right.
Take a Word Challenge - Shades of Blue
This week, at Take a Word, the challenge is to create a picture in shades of blue. The image is a Renaissance painting from Wikimedia Commons. The bird is from Createwings Designs. Swirl and background paper from my collection, origins unknown.

Take a Word Challenge - School-Days
I'm not sure where this image came from, having had it on my computer for many years. The backgrounds and flowers are from Phuong Ton and the vintage ephemera from Christina Renee.

The Three Muses Challenge - Freestyle and quote
The secret quads of a famous mother perhaps. The face is a clue. The names give a hint. The quote is mine but the lady in question might have said it.
I took a black and white photo of four vintage bathing beauties, coloured them in metallic sparkles using ArtRage software and added the faces.
