The Three Muses Challenge - Song Lyrics - Eleanor Rigby (All the Lonely People) by the Beatles

I have chosen "Eleanor Rigby" by the Beatles - Enlarge for better view.

Ah, look at all the lonely people.  Ah, look at all the lonely people.
Eleanor Rigby picks up the rice in the church where a wedding has been
Lives in a dream,
Waits at the window, wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the door
Who is it for?

All the lonely people
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?

The window (altered) is from Lori Davison at Scrapbookgraphics (textures and overlays added).  The jars are also from Lorie Davison.
The image of the lady is a Photoshop Brush the name of which has been lost in the mists of time.

  2. This illustrates the poignant and beautiful lyrics perfectly, Marie. I've always loved that song, it is touching and sad. Remember when lyrics told a story or painted a picture? In so much of today's music you can't even understand the lyrics, and if you do they're so laced with expletive deleteds you're sorry you did! Anyway, this is exquisite art, my friend.

  6. This is such a delicate picture illustrating the sadness of the song so perfectly. Love the muted colours, the bird outside and the way you have added the words to the painting.
