Thanks to Bev for a thoughtful challenge. My collage includes an image from Flickr Lost Gallery free to use. It is a painting of Saint Humbert of Savoy. The script was Googled and the background and arch are from Itkupilli. Dolor is a Latin word for sorrow. Gridlines a Photoshop brush.
Nice image and feel!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful image!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully designed. Love the woman image.
ReplyDeletegorgeous work, my friend!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful piece. I LOVE the grid line brush! It's very effective. This sent me to the dictionary, as my Spanish taught me dolor meant pain, but I see that expands quite a good deal...." pain ; agony ; ache ; grief ; woefulness ; soreness ; heartache ; hurt". I agree that the gender of your person is questionable...but the sorrow is not! Well done.
ReplyDeleteVery apropos! I remember dolor meaning pain in Spanish, too. Wonderful collage!
ReplyDeleteIn Portuguese is simply DOR and means everything Bev described... Nice work by the way.
ReplyDeleteSuperb expression of sorrow, Marie, the gridlines add an extra dimension!
