Poor butterfly indeed!  She really does look as if she's in pain.  The butterfly/ballerina is from e.vint.com (picture coloured and altered).  The theatre poster was Googled and the flower is from Lorie Davison.  Wings also Googled.

For some reason, on my computer at least, Blogger has turned blue into purple.  This is an original, digital painting.  The background was scanned from an old dictionary and altered.  Thanks to Mandy and Donna for a great challenge.

For the first picture I scanned a dictionary page and re-arranged it and distressed it.  The image is from a collage sheet by Maya at SBG, the paper flowers from Birgit Kerr.
