This week the theme is "sewing". The small girls (coloured and altered) are from an old Flickr free to use website. The bird and pieces of background to make the patchwork are from Ztampf. Stitches by Berna Datema.
I've always loved that image. The girl on the right looks a bit evil, don't you think?! This is such a neat piece, Marie. The use of the stitched bird makes it so very effective. Nice choice of elements!!!
I really feel as though I could touch the different fabrics and stitching in this, Marie. It deserves some very loud applause .... so I'm sending you some.
Love the beautiful embroidered bird Marie- this is truly beautiful and inspirational!
ReplyDeleteQuote so true, applied to me yesterday, Marie, love the rich colours and the patchwork design!
