For this week's blue theme I chose a black and white photo of actress, Maude Fealy, whose face was perfection. I laid it over random water colour effects and added a word overlay by Lauren Bavin. "Diamonds" by Jofia Devoe.Texture filters also used.
A wonderful misty, dreamy effect, Marie. Serene and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning, Marie!
ReplyDeleteBev is right dreamy, wonderful and so serene a meditation piece...awesome!
ReplyDeleteDivine effects, Marie, the 'sparkles' add a special touch!
ReplyDeleteShe's dreamy, Marie...soft, feminine...lovely!
ReplyDeleteThe effects you've created turned out in a pleasant peaceful image, Marie.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind comment. I like to play with words, but unfortunately I'm not sure I can have a nice conversation in English. When I speak it, I don't like what I hear and as I don't have the need to talk in English I never become really fluent.
BTW, your "Autumn" piece is lovely. I hope someday I go North on this time of the year to find out what Autumn is... :)
Ooooh, gorgeous! And yes, I believe she is magic : )
ReplyDeleteBonjour Mary!
ReplyDeleteTrès joli challenge ! beaucoup de douceur
j'aime beaucoup toutes les transparences appliquées à l'image.
Amitiés Mary.KG
Excusez moi Marie! Je voulais écrire MARIE ! et non Mary...la force de l'habitude ! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love photos of the beautiful Maude and you have done her proud! She's a dream in blue Marie. Gorgeous!!xx
ReplyDeleteA wonderfully dreamy feel to this, Marie. The shades of blue and the blended layers and that look of distraction in her eyes make me think she is dreaming of her sweetheart. A very satisfying piece to contemplate.
ReplyDeleteShe is wonderfully done and so 'floaty'. This would make a great cover for a book
ReplyDeleteThis is truly beautiful, Marie. I love what you did. Stunning!xx
ReplyDeleteThe water color effect and blending is so beautiful! I love the sparkles over her eyes.
ReplyDeleteShe is so wonderfully done Marie, love the words in the background.
ReplyDeleteAnni
She is beautiful Marie.
ReplyDeleteI always wonder if Maud had children. Have to google this once because I think when she had...they would be so proud of their mum.
ReplyDeleteShe's the most used portrait in challenges and what you created is so well done Marie !!
"Perfection" almost describes how amazing this is, Marie, but I don't think there is just one word to characterize this collage. So I'll try a list:
ReplyDeletedivinely
ethereal
dreamy
inspiring
magical
transporting
absolutely
amazing
Maude is gorgeous, and you have created an ethereal layout with your added blue textures.
