Three Muses Challenge - Postage People
The postage stamp is real - issued in an "Australian Legends" collection of well known Australians and this, of course, is Cate Blanchette. Her body is by Irene Alexeeva (sadly no longer designing) and the background is by Createwings Designs with butterfly from Google.

Take a Word Challenge - Friends
Thanks to Christine for hosting the challenge this week and giving us two most beautiful sample pictures. Two little girls are "found" images which I have had for a very long time and I don't know the source. The background is a paper by Irene Alexeeva and a digital brush by Katie Pertiet.

Sunday Postcard Challenge - Dress Form
Even we English speakers sometimes have difficulty with the language. Australians call this a dressmaker's dummy and I am hoping that "dress form" means the same thing!!
The face, coloured and changed, is from E-vint.com. The dress form is by Kubivet (no longer posting her freebies), the white eggs and newsprint frame are from Irene Alexeeva and the hope egg and background by Createwings Designs. The bird is from Jeannette Bollinger.

Three Muses Challenge - Architecture
Here I have used a grungy background by Catherine Designs, two digital brushes by Katie Pertiet at Designer Digitals and the beautiful image is from E-vint.com. Quote by Maya Angelou.
The vintage look was achieved by using two or three filters in a Photoshop Elements plug in which framed the picture in a rounded edge and added textures and shadows to the image.

Take a Word Challenge - Dream
The most pleasant dreams are those which make us feel as if we are weightless, floating or dancing with feet above the ground.
The ballet dancer is from a collage sheet by E-vint.com. The background is by Lorie Davison with clouds by Irene Alexeeva.

Three Muses Challenge - Lock and Key
I always do what I'm told so in my picture I have included a keyboard, the key to her heart, love is the key, the key of C, a door lock (in flower hat) and curly locks of hair.
The girl is an Ozstuffe Original using lock (hat), blue bow and papers for background and dress by Lorie Davison. The keys and "love" pendant are from Createwings Designs. Music and keyboard Googled. Curly locks an action in one of my software programs.

Take a Word Challenge - Peacock
The peacock lady is an Ozstuffe Originale using face and arms painted by me, peacock feather hat and dress. The background is made from a muted version of the feathers used in the dress.

Three Muses Challenge - Glamour Vintage
Penelope is an Ozstuffe Originale except for the paper hat and bow (Irene Alexeeva) and the background (Rosey Posey). The only drawback to Penelope's glamorous designs was that she couldn't go out on a rainy day. You've heard of Shabby Chic? This is Ultra-Shabby Chic.

Take a Word - Gentlemen
I am willing to bet that "Easter Parade" is one of the most watched movies of all time. I love the song "We're a couple of swells" and as soon as I saw the image of the "gentlemen" I knew what I was going to do. The lyrics and music are by Irving Berlin. The gentlemen were Googled as was the sheet music. The background paper is by Catherine Designs.
For those who don't know the song check out the lyrics on Google. The couple of swells in the movie were actually tramps (or hoboes) - Fred Astaire and Judy Garland taking the parts.

Three Muses Challenge - Hats and crowns and wings and things
Well, you asked for it, Ann. I have followed your theme to the letter. Hats yes, a crown yes, wings yes and things? Lots and lots of them.
I lost count of all the elements. They come from Irene Alexeeva, Kubivet, Creativewings Designs, Graphics Fairy, Holliewood, Finecrafted designs and Tumblefish. The couple come from E-vint.com. I have coloured and altered them from the original sepia.
