Sunday Postcard Art - Birthstone

I have always thought of my birthstone as TURQUOISE but it seems there are two stones for December - BLUE TOPAZ and the alternative TURQUOISE.  AMBER TOPAZ is the birthstone for November.  Therefore, it seems that turquoise is acceptable as December's birthstone.

My birthstone is turquoise which probably explains my affinity with all shades of blue.  I painted the face.  The hat is from Maya and the background by Lorie Davison (both of Scrapbookgraphics).  The dress fabric and turquoise pieces were Googled.

    Turquoise is my favorite color, and this collage is definitely one of my favorite of yours (though I like them all :)). Her face is wonderful- love her blingy brooch too!
