The Three Muses Challenge - Books

Thanks to Bev for a great challenge.  The reader is an image from my vast stash.  I have had her on file for many moons and I am afraid I don't know from whence it came.  Other scrumptious bits and pieces are from Lorie Davison at Scrapbookgraphics.

  1. I love this, Marie! The contrast of lights and darks is so dramatic- brings much intensity to the piece. She looks like she's so absorbed in what she's reading. and I love your little whimsical touch of the little cherub (?) reading also! Happy New Year!

  2. Marie, this is absolutely gorgeous! I agree with the comment above, the contrast of lights and darks is very compelling! Your work is elegant, whimsical, beautiful and every other adjective I could think of but don't have time or space to write! Sorry I haven't been around much, I'm scheduled for surgery on 12/30 and it's kept me too busy...so all the best to you in the New Year! I'll think of you while spending my New Year's Eve in a hospital bed! Get out the violins! Hugs, Lynn

  3. How very studious she looks... but is all what it seems? I wonder what book she has sneaked off the shelf to read when nobody is looking!
