Thanks to Itkupilli for the lovely image of Dorothy Lamour. Other images and bits and pieces were Googled. Film strips by Irene Alexeeva and ticket, metal film strip and film container by Kubivet (freebies).
Dorothy Lamour portrayed old Hollywood at it's best, and you've payed great tribute to her, Marie. I actually had the good fortune to see her many years ago in a production of "Hello Dolly". She was "a woman of age", but still glamorous!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo
Oh this is wonderful! I love how you've made a Variety page! Great detail! Thank you for passing by my blog and appologies for making you shudder. :-) I promise not to mention the dancey-dance! lol Karen xxx
Greetings Miss Marie... I love this piece, probably because I sooooo love Dorthy LaMore! Watching her with Bing & Bob in 'On the Road to____' is always delightful. I haven't seen one in a long time & I sure would like to...Thanks for the Memories!!! You are so right about the beach...it's not always the dream we imagine it to be. I have curly hair, so the second I hit the beach, my hair frizzes & I usually step on something sharp & hurt my foot cuz I always take my shoes off. But in the perfect moment just before sunset, it can also take my breath away! Big Hugs, Susie
