This week I am hosting The Three Muses Challenge - DOORS - and this is my sample picture. The picture of the door was Googled and the image is from a Flickr free-to-use black and white pen drawing greatly altered.
This is beautiful, Marie,---a great inspirational piece for the Muses second challenge! You're absolutely right, I can just see it on the cover of a paperback novel!
This is so beautiful Marie- so much expression and rich color. Stunning and inspiring work! Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog- I am so enjoying your exciting new challenge blog!
Marie, fantastic cover for a one of those trashy novels I would love to read! Your cover certainly portrays suspense, sex and scandal with all those vivid colors, fem fatales and mysteries doors that lead to? Staytuned!!! I love it!!!
Marie, this is stunning!!! Love you subtle texting and her look combined with the door - marvellous! I have a few plans for a door too, love your challenges :)
YEAHHH. That Hunk on that picture was hilarious wasn't it ? I had so much fun created it that I almost put a photo from myself to it. LOL ***** I am now on this moment looking all the entry's Marie and aren't they al so creative and inspirational ? Your challengeblog ( and Bev & Ann) is realy a HIT in blogland.
This is fantastic, Marie! I like her frantic look and the color scheme. The blue door is a nice contrast. And I like that you used a page from a novel, which I tried to read but wasn't able read all of.
What fabulous results you got from a black and white drawing! I love it and if this was the cover of a "trashy Victorian novel" I would be inclined to read it because of the cover! Terrific!
Something a little scarey behind that door perhaps, the look on the ladies face is priceless! The layers and interest in this piece are fantastic Marie, very inspiring!
