Artarazzi Digital Art Challenge -Like Fish out of Water

Vron has challenged us with a photo of a fish and asked us to do our darndest with it. I have taken the fish out of their watery element and placed them canoodling in the park. I did use two or three filters to improve the colour of the fishies. Background by Lorie Davison SBG, Blue flowers by Dawn Inskip and seat by SussieM SBG. A Moo or Two - Alice in Wonderland

My Mad Hatter is an original, painted by me. The clock and background papers are by Irene Alexeeva and the teaset is by Berna Datema.

Theme Thursday - Green and Brown

For this challenge I took a beautiful sepia image by Outsider-Artists (freebie) and colorised it. The roses come from a photo I took of cream blooms which I have digitally tinged pale green and then digitally painted the edges a darker green. The background is a paper from Flergs at Scrapbookgraphics.

For something small, I have created this ATC. The image is from a collage sheet by Luna Girl, the window a freebie from Kubivet and the background painted by me.

I think I went a bit mad with gold! The lady is from a collage sheet by Maya at Scrapbookgraphics, the background was painted by me, the tree, angel and bell are by Kubivet (freebies), the gold letters by Flergs at SBG and the gold overlay edging by Irene Alexeeva.

Art on the Dark Side Challenge - Masks

Having fallen into the world of digital art through a great website "Digital Art Quirks", I have learned to take an out-of-the-frame approach to challenges. This may not look dark, but it makes me think of children's Christmas gifts which invariably come in boxes with the pieces wired or nailed down so tight that it takes hours to set them all free. It brings out a very dark side in me!! And I am only the Grandma. So my paper doll is a captive in a dark box, even though she is dressed for a party.

This week's theme is "Santa". Christmas in Australia is vastly different to Christmas in the northern hemisphere. I have painted my own Santa (and cushion). All other bits and pieces have been Googled and altered a little.

Great challenge! It is late spring and strawberry season here in Oz so my thoughts turned to large, dark red, juicy strawberries and whipped cream.

A Moo or Two - The first time

The first time I attempted to make a Moo I thought to myself "What the?" How could anyone fit all the bits and pieces into one tiny and skinny template? It is still a challenge but a very enjoyable one.
