The Three Muses Challenge - Song Lyric

The lady is my own creation, painted digitally in ArtRage.  The dried roses are by Trish Jones and other bits and pieces by Lorie Davison (Scrapbookgraphics) and Irene Alexeeva.

Gorgeous Marie! I use that word so much it seems inadequate but I think this piece is so good!
It brings back memories of my beloved grandparents who used to sing this together, and quite well too! I said all my family were musical! LOL!

A sweet, old song deserves a beautifully rendered young lady. Your collage is marvelous, Marie!

I don't know the song, Marie, but you have done it immeasurable justice all the same. Your painted faces are absolutely beautiful and the muted vintage shades you've used convey the sadness of the lyrics so well. A big fat standing ovation from my corner.
