The Three Muses Challenge - Musical Instruments - Gloriana

This week at the Muses the theme is MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS.  The painting is from the Renaissance period by an artist, Criville.  The text in the background was Googled as was the instrument.

Digital Whisper Challenge - DOMINOS

This week at Digital Whisper the theme is DOMINOS.  I painted the face (digitally) and added a Googled domino pattern to make her shirt.  Background by Itkupilli.

Take a Word Challenge - OLD FASHIONED

This week at Take a Word Challenge the theme is OLD FASHIONED.  I painted the fifties lady in ArtRage digital art software.  The splatters are Photoshop brushes.
I have had problems using my Windows Edge browser in Blogspot today.  I changed to Google Chrome and was able to post to my blog and to the challenge page. I mention this in case others have had the same problem.

This week at Take a Word the theme is VALENTINE.  My view on the big day is a little bit jaded and my "lovebirds" are undecided.  Card made from ephemera from my collection over the years.

This week at Digital Whisper the theme is SWING.  I'm not sure if this is the swing to have fun on or swing music/the age of swing.  I have chosen the former.

This week at Take a Word the theme is FRIENDS.  I have chosen to illustrate it in quirky, maybe ridiculous style, but I had fun.  The bathing beauties were Googled.  The background pieces, the heads, fish, banner and detached arm are from Itkupilli.
