Take a Word Challenge - FRAMES

Bev has challenged us to use frames in this week's challenge.  I love this rustic piece from Lorie Davison and Lorie's golden swirls are used on the lady's head.  The image is from e-vint.com.  I have coloured it and overpainted her "hair" and earrings using ArtRage painting software.

Apologies to my Blog friends for not keeping up with commenting.  The lovely Bev and Ann have been holding the fort for me in recent weeks.  I had a non-serious medical issue which took up some time and my husband had a massive stroke three months ago which meant daily hospital visits.  He passed away this week which was a peaceful release from a life not worth living any more.  I am hoping to get back to normal very soon.

Take a Word Challenge - BEAUTY

A beautiful face doesn't need any embellishments. I have set this one on a collaged dictionary page which I created and coloured.  The image was in my stash of "found" treasures.  Unfortunately, I don't know its origins.
