The meaning behind this is self-explanatory.  The painted lady is, of course, a Modigliani image with added heart and hands.  The painter's picture is from e-vint.com, altered and overpainted.

The Three Muses Challenge - Go Fish - The Kiss

This week at the Muses the theme is "GO FISH".  I found this image on my e-vint.com collection.  It has been extracted and coloured.  The background and seaweeds are from January at Mischief Circus, the fish were Googled and the bubbles are from Lorie Davison.

Take a Word Challenge - Hearts/Digital Whisper Challenge - Violin.

My "hearts and violins" picture is for Take a Word and Digital Whisper, a case of piercing two hearts with one sharp bow.  Much better than killing two innocent birds with one stone.  The musical lady is my own creation, painted in ArtRage digital painting program.  I'm particularly proud of the bustier.  The background is a collage of various bits of old ephemera.  The violin and bow were googled.

This week at DW the challenge theme is SHIPS.  Mine is a sailing ship - or a small model of one.  The image is from Itkupilli and the background and sailing ship from Kubivet (no longer designing).

This week at Take a Word the theme is FRAMES - any frame will do.  My sample picture is called "Selfie Gone Mad" with the iPad doubling as a frame.  The background is by Hollie wood, the iPads and image Googled.

This week at Take a Word the theme is ART.  I've chosen to illustrate digital art which depends on a combination of a variety of elements, images and backgrounds that will go together to produce an interesting picture.  My picture is an assemblage in a shadow box.  The image is from Wikimedia Commons.  Most of the elements are from Lorie Davison, others from Finecrafted Designs and Marta van Eck.

This week at Digital Whisper the theme is "bunnies".  I'm not usually known for putting animal heads on humans but why not some Rabbit Gothic?  The original picture, is, of course, "American Gothic".  Collage made from ephemera I've collected over the years.  Excuse my French!
