Patti's clothes pin challenge took some thinking about.  Why not combine getting a sun tan with doing the chores?

The lady is from e-vint.com.  The white background is from Anna Aspnes and the clothes and sheet were painted by me. (Old fashioned dolly pin/peg Googled).

The image (coloured and altered) is from e-vint.com.  The gold tulle and chains are from Irene Alexeeva, some elements from Lauren Bavin and the background by Rebecca McMeen.  Stars from software element.

Take a Word Challenge - WINDOW

The window comes from Kubivet Designs (no longer in business).  The image was originally a black and photo from e-vint.com, coloured and altered.  The background includes a PS brush by Katie Pertiet and a clock face from Lauren Bavin (no longer operating as a designer).

This week at SPA the theme is ROSES.  My postcard includes an (altered) image from Kubivet and other elements from Lorie Davison at SBG.  The rose was extracted from one of my own photos.

Digital Whisper Challenge - Summertime

This week at Digital Whisper the theme is SUMMERTIME.  Thanks for all your great challenges, Patti.  The image is from e-vint.com, coloured and altered.  I made the background from an altered photograph of a jetty in south-west Australia - added some overpainting and collaging to make a summery scene.

The Three Muses Challenge - Beatles Lyrics - NOWHERE MAN

What a great repository of lyrics to be found in the many songs of the Beatles.  Nice challenge, Ann.  I have chosen "Nowhere Man".  The background is from Lorie Davison, the image from Finecrafted Designs.

The fashionable images are from an old set from Tangie Baxter.  Background bits and pieces mostly from Kubivet (no longer in business) and some Photoshop postage brushes.

Thanks to Bev for a delicious challenge.  The girl is from Hidden Vintage Designs, the border of apples from Kubivet, the slate was Googled.

Take a Word Challenge - Dancer

Unfortunately, the lady's dreams of becoming a prima ballerina were dashed when she wore the wrong shoes!  The background is a scanned dictionary page, aged and altered.  The ballerina is a Photoshop brush silhouette.  Not sure where I found the image but it has been altered and added to.

Three Muses Challenge - Fish

This week our theme fish.  I found black and white line drawings of the two fish at Google Images and painted them, using "metallic" paints in ArtRage digital painting software.  The sea plants, bubbles and seawater are from Lorie Davison at Scrapbookgraphics.

There's a saying that a gambler loses the shirt off his back.  Well, this lady lost more than her shirt.  Fortunately she found a very fetching vintage clock to preserve her dignity.
