Postcard Sunday - Hearts - A Sad Tale
I have once again taken my Uncle (by marriage) out of mothballs to play a part in this week's postcard theme. Not everyone is happy on Valentine's Day.Hearts and background by SherrieJD at Scraporchard, photo from my family album and tightrope walker Googled.

Artarazzi - Me, Myself and I
Vron from Artarazzi has asked us to use our photo in a picture which is difficult for me as I am notoriously camera shy and hate anyone seeing shots of me. Still, this was fun to do. The words are lyrics from the song "I am what I am" by Jerry Herman. Read clockwise from left and then left to right across at the bottom. (ENLARGE TO MAKE TEXT EASIER TO READ).Background and digital stamps by Maya at SBG, blue roses my own photo, dress paper by Berna Datema at SBG, alphabet by the late Carla Gibson (Oscraps), legs by Lisa Whitney.

Art Creations Friday - Beautiful Background!
The beautiful background painting took my breath away. It is superb!! I didn't want to add too much to it because it is an amazing piece of art on its own. The image is from a collage sheet by Maya at Scrapbookgraphics (altered) and the balloons and music are by Irene Alexeeva. Hearts for Valentine's Day.Thursday, February 12, 2009

Sunday Postcard - Chairs
I wasn't sure how to approach this theme but was lucky to find a very nice if faded, black and white photo in one of my old family albums. This is a picture of my aunt, aged 12. The chair is quite interesting. I think it has a rounded back rest. "Chairish" is, of course, a play on words - cherish. I have done some work on the original photo and given my aunt a new background which is by Madame Mim. Border by Sausan.Artarazzi - Fashionable Lady
