This week our theme is NUMBERS. I made the background "checkerboard" (none of it makes sense) and the lady on pointe is from e-vint.com (coloured and altered).

The Three Muses Challenge - JUNE BRIDES
This is an Ozstuffe Originale (who else could come up with such a monstrosity I hear you say). All my own work. Drawn (digitally) in ArtRage. Yes, I have a badly skewed opinion of marriage.

Take a Word Challenge - Cool Colours
I made a Photoshop brush from a Googled vintage image which is overlaid on to a background made from an old dictionary page with some colour added. I added some tinting with a touch of whites and sepias to help achieve a contrast. A background paper by Berna Datema was also used. Don't throw out your old dictionaries and books. They make great starting points for artwork.

Sunday Postcard Art - Art Journal Postcard
I love art journals and I so admire the mixed media artists who create the wonderful artwork. It's fun to try to do it in digital art but I am the first one to admit that it's not quite the same (to state the obvious).
I painted the lady in artrage and scanned the dictionary definition of FATE and cut and pasted it. I also painted the fringe at the top. Background and splatters by Creativewings Designs. Paper flowers by Birgit Kerr.

The Three Muses Challenge - Gothic Arch
Well, the arch is gothic but the picture is more "creepy fairy tale". The image (from e-vint.com) is Fanny Brice, the original "Funny Girl". This photo was in black and white and it has been coloured by me. The background is by Lorie Davison, silhouette a PS brush.

Take a Word Challenge - THE COLOUR ORANGE
The image (originally sepia) was coloured and altered. Googled papers used in box and "fringe" at top. I made the cat from cut and pasted pieces from a paper background by Createwings Designs. The flower brushes are by Birgit Kerr. The background by Captive Visions. Other stamps by Rosey Posey.
