52 Starlets Challenge - Marilyn Monroe
It's hard to believe Marilyn Monroe would be 85 this week if she were still alive. The photo was Googled and the flowers are from Christina Renee at Scrapbookgraphics.
Take a Word Challenge #31 - Wings
The head and body are from two separate E-vint collage images - originally black and white, coloured and altered greatly. The overall background and butterfly are by Ruth Davis, E-scape and Scrap. The spotted background and bird are by Lorie Davison, Scrapbookgraphics. The grunge corner frames and edging on the right are by Roxy H at Coppercurls Designs. The grunge bubble wrap is by Maya at Scrapbookgraphics.

52 Starlets Challenge #2 Clara Bow
I had some fun morphing Clara bow into Charlie Chaplin. Clara and Charlie Googled. Background pieces from Kubivet freebies.
Take a Word #30 - Zetti
I am no expert on Zetti Art which is somewhat elusive when trying to pin down what it really is. I think whimsical and have fun with it. The face and body are from E-vint collages (two separate images, altered). I overpainted a ballerina in a tutu to achieve the bee effect. Blackboard by Fiddlette and other bits and pieces by Lorie Davison at Scrapbookgraphics.

Starlets Challenge - Maureen O'Sullivan
Missouri's Lilac has opened a new challenge each week featuring a famous actress from the golden years of film. This week the actress selected is Maureen O'Sullivan. Check out the challenge HERE
I googled a black and white photo which I have coloured and given some 'aged look' treatment. The vintage film frame is by Irene Alexeeva and the blue flowers and ribbon by Lauren Bavin.
Take a Word Challenge #29 - ORIENTAL
This oriental lady is the sum of her parts - face from a shop mannequin which explains the rather square jaw and wooden gaze; wig painted in by me; robe and garden temple from Alana McCarthy at Scrapbookgraphics; background by Ztampf also at SBG and the Googled Japanese lettering which (I hope) says HAPPINESS, hoping that the lady might cheer up for her big unveiling on the blog.

Three Muses Challenge - Stripes
Thanks for the stripey challenge, Bev! The man's face, altered, is from a collage sheet by Moonlight journey. I painted in his body. Sorry that the stripes aren't exactly even but, hey, I drew them with a mouse. The background striped vintage paper is by Lorie Davison and the overlay by Creativewings Designs. The bird comes from my software program. The quote is by William Shakespeare.

Take a Word #27 - EXPOSED
Frida Kahlo painted countless portraits of herself and she was not afraid to expose her supposed flaws. She said "I never paint dreams or nightmares. I paint my own reality."
Looking at my picture above, perhaps I didn't learn the lesson of never painting dreams and nightmares! I made a digital brush from a Kahlo self-portrait and vastly altered a background by Createwing Designs which I coloured and cut and pasted. The hand was Googled and the paint splatters are digital brushes.
