Both of these are great, Marie! Two different approaches, both successful.
WOW, TWO for the "prize" of ONE !!Very unexpected from you Marie but i can fully understand why you could'nt choose ! Both are masterpieces. The first one because of your excellent drawing skillsAnd the second one because of the multiplicity of ALL the layers and how you composed it !!Wasn't this a FUN theme !!!! I love to watch al the entries this week !!!
I immediately thought of those movies when I saw the theme, but your other piece is so sweet...I can hear the music of the cello pouring out of her soul!
Both images are great, the collage is a great tribute, but the cello player...marvellous. I think your heat wave gets to us by the weekend.
Both are fantastic Marie but I am partial to your beautiful artwork...She and her delightful flowered cello...magnifique!!!
Your cello girl is exquisite. Your personal style is magnifique, Miss Marie. The collage is stupendous as well. You were a busy girl. It's amazing what you can do when you're not babysitting grandchildren 24/7 !!!!

They are both great but I do love the first one the colour combo is so striking xx
Two absolutely smashing pictures Marie! Beautiful artwork. I'm rather partial to the daisy covered cello and your lovely maiden. Great work again. Hugs xx
I love the cello picture! That is truly unique! The second one is a wonderful collage of the entertainment greats. Fantastic!
both are so different, but i couldn´t make a choice... the colors of the first one are so pleasing!! and in the collage of movies everything falls together so well!
Two great collages but the top one really caught my eye. Love the colors !
Marie, I love the drawing/painting and wish we could see more of this side of you. The hands, the face, the colors are all superbly done. I hope I get to join in with this topic but with Thanksgiving looming large here I think I probably won't get to.
Kudos times two, Marie! The second one is a really super collage but the first one........oh my! I love the colours and the exuberance!
both are fantastic!
