This week at Take a Word the challenge theme is CLOCKS. The image in the foreground is from e-vint.com (no longer selling) coloured and altered. In the right backhand corner is a ghostly picture of my parents on their wedding day. Other memories Googled.
This week at the Muses the challenge theme is FENCES. The photograph from an old family album is of my aunt who was 12 at the time. The photo was black and white which I have coloured. As her boots were barely visible I substituted a pair of Googled boots. The background (altered) was also Googled.
I scanned the open pages of the pocket dictionary, added some digital water colour painting, the girl's image from Paper Whimsy and the baby from Hidden Vintage Studios (no longer selling). The quote says: "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up". (Pablo Picasso).
I started with a black and white image from e.vint.com (no longer selling - I was lucky enough to download hundreds of photos in collections before it closed). I coloured and overpainted the young lady and I painted the red curtains in ArtRage painting software.
