Take a Word Challenge - SEWING

This week at Take a Word the theme is SEWING.  The background pattern was Googled.  The lady sewing is from Graphics Fairy.  I converted it into a Photoshop Elements semi-transparent brush and then coloured it.
If you read the small print you will see mention of a "mantua maker" which is the old fashioned description of a dress maker.  This is not an actual pattern created for Marie Antoinette.  Apparently, it has been designed for mothers to make a fancy dress costume for their daughters.

  1. Hope she will not sew her own wore clothes by the way, otherwise she would have a problem, when she wants to stand up!
