The Three Muses Challenge - Haute Couture (High Fashion).

This week at the Muses the theme is HAUTE COUTURE.  I have chosen the early Victorian period - the times described so beautifully by Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters. The background is from Itkupilli and the images are from "2 crazy headed monsters" from Mischief Circus.

Digital Whisper Challenge - Parrots

Australia has hundreds of species of parrots and cockatoos many of which can still be seen in suburban backyards.  This is an Australian ring-necked parrot known to all as a "Twenty-eight" so called because one of its calls sounds like the words "twenty-eight".  I have a family of Twenty-eights living in a very large eucalyptus tree in my garden.  Sadly, the loss of their habitat and the need for them to compete with other bird species for nesting areas means that they are becoming fewer in number. My picture refers to the fact that time is against them and they are dying out.

The Three Muses Challenge - Favourite artist or style

One of my favourite artists is GUSTAV KLIMT.  This is an original digital painting referring to his style but not copying it, using metallic paints with face from a collection of mine and Googled hands.  (ArtRage softwear).

It's a mail theme at this week's Take a Word Challenge.  I have chosen to create an envelope with a French (and Belgian) flavour.  The image is from e-vint.com - altered and coloured.  Other elements and papers from Lauren Bavin.
