Take a Word Challenge - Dancer

Unfortunately, the lady's dreams of becoming a prima ballerina were dashed when she wore the wrong shoes!  The background is a scanned dictionary page, aged and altered.  The ballerina is a Photoshop brush silhouette.  Not sure where I found the image but it has been altered and added to.

  2. All dressed up so pretty to glide and sway and more
Only to discover she's rooted to the floor!

Ah, many's the time I've felt that way on the dance floor. This is funny and sad at the same time, Marie .... and, as always, immensely well done!

  4. She is sad but so lovely Marie!
I love the ballerina's arms movement, making butterfly's wings, the B&W effects, and what you're use to make with dictionary pages.

  5. Terrific, Marie. Reminds me of the days when we would just kick off our shoes at the dances. TFS.

  10. Perhaps she will do a clog dance as her party piece. You have a wicked sense of humour, Marie.
